| 7-16 Our Last Day at Yellowstone |
7/16 |

|
Today is our last day in Yellowstone. It is a little sad to be leaving such a beautiful place. Yesterday we took the south entrance all the way down to the Grand Teton National Park. Lot of things to do and see there. We wore ourselves out and got back to the RV very late.
Today we want to make one more trip into Yellowstone and do some fly fishing. Last night on the way back to our RV we stopped at Old Faithful Lodge and watched Old Faithful one last time. It always delights. We had a piece of carrot cake at the Lodge, $3.50 but worth every dime. Overall the food in Yellowstone is not that great. It is adequate but not superlative. The desserts, however, are very good. Do you think Jim and I have sweet tooths?
We are headed on to Glacier National Park. Jim is plotting a route that hopefully will not include too many mountains. We plan to park the RV and use the Saturn to drive the “Highway to the Sun.” Then on to Oregon.
Must take time to check every thing on he coach and the toad. Tires, oil levels, water levels, clean the coach windshield, and have to get the ladder out for that.
